In order to increase payment security across the platform, it is now required that your clients verify their email addresses prior to you being able to add a subscription to their client profile.

How does a newly added client verify their email address?

Any new client that you add will automatically get an invitation to create an account. This invitation will serve as their verification and no additional steps will be required for them to verify their email address. This means once they accept your invitation, they will be all good to go to have subscriptions created on their profile.

It should be noted that the “copy invite” feature will not serve to verify any newly added client’s email address. They will need to verify their email address from accepting the invitation in their email inbox or follow the steps outlined in this help article.

How do I know if a client has verified their email address?

First, you can click on their name to pull up their workout calendar. From their click on the subscriptions tab on the left sidebar:

If their email address still needs to be verified, you will see a banner at the top of the page:

If that's the case, the client will need to log into the web version of TrueCoach to verify their email address. The steps in this article outline what they need to do to verify their email.

Once they have notified you that their email address has been verified, give your page a refresh and you should no longer see the banner on the top of the screen. You should then be able to add a subscription and start collecting 💰.

To see a full list of all of your clients that need to verify their email address, head over to the Payments section of TrueCoach.

From there, hit Subscriptions > Create a subscription:

Select a client and then you will see your whole client list and who still needs to verify their email address:

If their email address is already verified, you can hit the green + button to add a subscription for them.
