How does an in-person client verify their email address?

This article describes how to verify an in-person client's email address so that you can add a subscription to their profile

Currently, email addresses for in-person clients are not required. In order to add a subscription for an in-person client, however, you will need to add an email address to their profile so it can be verified by the client. Below is a step-by-step guide showing how you can get their email address verified so that you can add a subscription for them.


Step 1: Switch them to a dual client

You will want to click into their workout calendar > click the Settings Tab. From there, you can change their client type to Dual and hit save:

Step 2: Send them a password reset link

You can log out of TrueCoach as an admin and click "Forgot your password?".

You can then enter your client's email address and they will get a link to set a new password. From there, they can follow the steps in this help article to verify their email address.


Step 3: Switch them back to an In-Person client

Once your client has successfully verified their email address, you can go back to their settings page and switch them back to an in-person client if you want them to remain as that client type and not have access to the TrueCoach mobile apps.
