This is an area that it is important for you as a coach to develop some success tactics with your clients. As your client uploads videos to their workouts, there are some best practices to abide by to ensure that video gets to you as the coach.

Here they are:

Be on a Reliable Network

This may seem like a no-brainer, but it is super important for video uploads to be made from a reliable wifi/network connection.

Often times our gym's public wifi is just not enough bandwidth, so make sure you jump on something a little more powerful.

Trim the Videos

TrueCoach has a video limit size of 200mb which is normally about a :60 video taken on a smart phone.

It is important for clients to trim videos or split up sets into multiple videos to upload.

Do Not Navigate Away from the App

Until you have confirmed the video has been uploaded, it is important to stay in the app. No jumping over to Instagram or locking your phone to get into the next set. Moving away from the app will cause upload failure!

Check to make sure your video has been fully uploaded

While your video is uploading, make sure the file has been completely uploaded before navigating away. Below is an example of a file uploading.

Once the has uploaded you will see it appear and you can click to watch the file as well or swipe your finger left over the file to delete it.
