Voice Notes Messaging

Another way to communicate with your clients through the messaging feature is here!

The messenger allows you to communicate with your clients right from TrueCoach, keeping everything in one spot. You now have the option right from the messenger to record and send voice notes to your clients!

When you launch messenger, you will see a microphone icon below the text box:

Simply click this icon and your recording will start right away! While recording, you will have the option to stop or pause your recording at any time.

Once completed, you will have the option to play your message back before sending. You also have the option to delete your message and try again.


To access voice notes, clients will need to navigate to their 'messages' section to listen to the message. They can access these directly through their TrueCoach app!

In order to send voice notes through mobile, upon first use you will be prompted to allow the TrueCoach app to access your microphone:

If you do not allow this, you will not be able to send voice notes. If you accidentally select don't allow, you will need to go into your app settings within your device to change your selection.

Some other important notes:

  • If using voice notes on TrueCoach desktop version, the microphone used will match your system settings. If you do not already have a microphone setting selected, you will be prompted to allow TrueCoach to access your microphone.

  • Voice notes are limited to 7 minutes to ensure efficiency for sending within TrueCoach.

  • Only the sender can delete a voice note. Once a voice note is sent to a client, the client would not be able to delete it from their message history.

  • Voice note messages can be sent the same way as all other messages, including for group messages! If you need a refresher on the different ways to send a message please view our Messaging help center article!
